Zoom
Zoom is a web conferencing system. It can be used for meetings, small group work and webinars. In a Zoom meeting you can:
- send a video with a camera on your computer or mobile device
- chat and use text chat
- share your own screen and use a whiteboard
- work in small groups
Zoom can be used on either a computer or a mobile device. Zoom works best on a computer with the Zoom desktop app installed. On staff computers, the app comes pre-installed. Students can download and install the app here: https://zoom.us/download
There is a separate app for mobile devices and you can get it from your device's app store.
