Server Migration in June 2025
The Learn server environment will be transferred from Xamk's IT management to Mediamaisteri Oy in June 2025. Outsourcing enables preparation for future needs and improves the resilience and scalability of the learning environment.
Due to the server migration, Learn will be unavailable from May 30 at 6:00 PM until June 1, 2025. The learning environment will be opened as soon as possible after the server migration on Sunday 1 June, but the environment will normally be available no later than Monday 2 June in the morning.
Please note the downtime in the scheduling of course assignments and exams and avoid scheduling submissions between 30 May and 1 June 2025.
Except for downtime, the migration will not affect the Learn environment functionality or require any actions from users. Support for Learn will continue to be available through Xinfo.
Version Update in August 2025
The Learn environment will be updated to version 4.5 on Monday, August 11, 2025, starting at 7:00 AM. The estimated downtime is a few hours, but the exact duration will be confirmed closer to the date. Some functionalities will change slightly as part of the update.
